In collaboration with VC, the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta has launched an Executive Programme in Business and Corporate Laws (EPBCL). The duration of the course is six months, and it is an online two way based interactive programme. Prof. R. Rajesh Babu and Prof. Unni of IIM-Calcutta designed the course, and they will deliver the course too.

The primary objective of EPBCL course is to train management consultants, business managers, corporate secretarial professionals and legal professionals in risk management, corporate planning and strategy.
The course explores the strategic aspects of law and treats it as a value-added tool in business strategy. EPBCL course will make the participants understand the law in business organisations. It will also make the participants understand the legal environment that is prevalent in business operations. The course will further help the legal managers to manage the risk and plan strategies for competitive advantage.

Through this course, the participants will be trained in various facets of business and its operations which include strategic market of IPRs, raising capital, private equity, capital and forex market regulations and external commercial borrowings.
Eligibility Criteria for EPBCL course at IIM-C:
- Interested candidates with 50% marks in Graduation are eligible to apply for the course. Similarly, the candidates must have two years of work experience.
Note: - The candidates will have the choice to pursue the course either online or through video conference (virtual classroom) across 40 locations in 21 cities.
After the completion of the course, the candidates have to undergo a four-day campus module. All the successful candidates will be awarded certificate by Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
