Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta witnessed 100% placements of the 57th batch during the final placements. The average salary stands at INR 34.2 lakh and the median salary at INR 31 lakh. About 465 students bagged 631 offers in the final placements. More than 190 recruiters offered lucrative job offers during the placement process.
The maximum number of offers were received from the consulting sector with 49%. Major recruiters of the placement process were Bain and Company, McKinsey and Company, Boston Consulting Group, Accenture Strategy, and EY Parthenon. General Management and Marketing domain made 14% of the total offers, marquee asset management, investment banking, and private equity-venture capital firms made a total offer of 18%, product management, and operations domain with top recruiters i.e, Microsoft, Paytm, Amazon, Flipkart made a total offer of 19%.

The recruiters who newly participated in the placement drives and were offered many job opportunities to candidates were IIFL, Nykaa, Premji Invest, Rothschild, Zomato. International companies such as Emaar, Protiviti also offered jobs to the students.
