The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will offer Post-Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management (PGCHM), a one-year full-time residential programme. The main aim of this course is to provide customised management education to healthcare professionals and train them for managerial leadership. PGCHM is a mix of academics and professional experience. It includes Industry Immersion Programmes, academic modules, case studies, lectures, assignments, expert presentations, participant presentations and assignments.
Once the course is completed, participants get IIM Calcutta certificate with alumni status. One of the features of this course is a relevant and comprehensive course content and it covers all diverse topics such as healthcare economics, industry overview, health law, contemporary healthcare conversations. It will also help the participants get in-depth knowledge and insight into the different aspects of healthcare management. The admission for PGCHM's next batch has already commenced and the course is expected to begin in March 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for Pursuing PGCHM
- PGCHM is for the healthcare professionals, doctors , professionals from medical and allied sectors such as medical insurance, pharmaceuticals and for healthcare entrepreneurs.
- Medical practitioners and administrators who have a recognised MBBS/BDS/BAMS degree or it's equivalent are eligible for pursuing PGCHM.
- Students who have a background in biotechnology and biomedical can also apply for the same. Candidates from other backgrounds with experience in the healthcare field are also eligible to apply. They require minimum 50% in graduation/postgraduation and minimum work experience of two-years in the healthcare sector.
