The CAT 2021 notification has been released on August 1. Registrations for CAT 2021 are scheduled to begin on August 4. Here are the details.
CAT 2021 notification has been released by IIM Ahmedabad on July 31, 2021 . The CAT official website www.iimcat.ac.in will be made live soon. Along with the notification, the CAT registration and exam dates have also been revealed. Candidates can use the link given below to download the PDF file of the official notification.

CAT 2021 registrations will begin from August 4 and the CAT 2021 exam date has now been confirmed as November 28, 2021 . The application form for CAT 2021 will remain open till September 15. Candidates will have to apply for CAT 2021 from the official website in the online mode.

How to Apply for CAT 2021
In order to fill the CAT application form 2021, candidates can follow these steps.
- Visit iimcat.ac.in .
- Register by clicking on New Candidate and filling in all of the details.
- Login with the ID and password generated in the last step.
- Complete the application form by providing your personal, academic and other details.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.

The application fee must be paid online using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. Management aspirants must fill the application form as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute glitches on the website.

New Changes in CAT 2021
The following new changes to CAT 2021 have been introduced by IIM Ahmedabad:
- The number of CAT 2021 exam centres has been increased to 158. Last year, the number of CAT 2021 exam centres was 156.
- The CAT application fee has been increased to INR 1100 for SC/ ST/ PwD categories and INR 2200 for other categories.
Has CAT 2021 exam pattern changed?
Significant changes were made to the CAT exam pattern last year. Hence, there was a lot of speculation about the pattern being changed again. However, IIM Ahmedabad has decided on keeping the CAT 2021 exam pattern the same as last year. No new changes have been announced this year. The CAT 2021 question paper will have a total of 76 questions. There will be 26, 24 and 26 questions in the VARC, DILR and QA sections respectively.
