IIM CAT Result 2024 LIVE UpdatesIIM CAT Result 2024 LIVE Updates: The IIM Calcutta will release the IIM CAT 2024 result anytime soon on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. The final answer key has been published and no objections in any of the three shifts were accepted. A total of 405 objections were raised, of which the highest were from the Shift 2 VARC section. A total of 272 objections were raised alone from the Shift 2 VARC, followed by 68 objections from the Shift 3 VARC and 31 objections from the Shift 1 VARC section. The rest of the sections had a far lower number of objections. Despite the high number, no objection was accepted. Hence, no change was made in the final answer key. This year, the number of questions asked in the IIM CAT 2024 exam was increased to 68, however, the questions were easier compared to the last year. Hence, experts are assuming that the IIM CAT category-wise cutoff might be increased this year.

Candidates who appeared for the IIM CAT 2025 exam will be eligible to get access to check the result by entering the required login credentials, such as the IIM CAT registration number and password. Along with the IIM CAT result, the authority will release the final answer key. Since the IIM CAT 2025 exam was conducted in multiple shifts, therefore, the authority will consider a normalization method to maintain a parity in releasing the result. For the same, the highest score, lowest score, median and mean score, top 10 and lowest percentiles scores will be considered.
What After IIM CAT Result 2024?
Candidates who will be qualifying for the IIM CAT 2024 exam and want to secure a seat to any of the IIMs, should appear for the Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Note, that the selection criteria of the candidates will depend on the CAT cutoffs. Candidates who will meet the individual IIM’s minimum cutoff, should fill out the counselling online form.
Post that the candidates should fill out the PI shortlist form by the stipulated time. The selection will be done based on the CAT score of the candidates and the academic record (Class 10 and 12 marks). Next, the Institutes will shortlist the eligible candidates for WAT/PI. Also, for the CAT 2024, the IIMs will publish the MBA/PGP shortlist in January 2025.
