Three girls from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L) have won the 'Yes Bank Aspire Scholarship'. The scholarship winners, Ishita Basu, Pallavi Dani, Vaishali Sabherwal will receive a sum of rupees 2 lakh each and will also get mentorship from Yes bank's top management.
Yes Aspire scholarship is a grooming platform for young aspiring leaders to help pursue them their vision. Under this scholarship 30 scholars having leadership qualities from top B-Schools of India will be trained and helped to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions.
Apart from scholarship aspirants will also get an oppurtunity to participate in various other exclusive knowledge events of the bank.
An ecstatic Pallavi said that this scholarship will provide her freedom and much needed motivation to pursue her business ambitions. For her this scholarship is a legacy she wants to carry forward by helping others live their dreams.
According to Rana Kapoor, CEO and Managing director of Yes Bank the scholarship was founded in 2015 and the aim was to provide a creative platform to the aspirent so that they can achieve their aim.
Aim of this scholarship was just to bring a believe in today's young and budding leaders that they can create a tectonic shift in the business and entreprenuership ecosystem in India with the help of dynamic thinking, creativity and innovation.
This was the second edition of 'Aspire Scholarship'', commenced in January 2016 with a invite to 250 applicants from 20 partner B-Schools in India. After several rounds, final selections were made on the basis of personal interviews.
