The first batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA), offered collaboratively by IIM Calcutta , IIT Kharagpur and ISI Kolkata , has successfully concluded the placements for this season.
Students of the PGDBA batch 2015-17 received the highest domestic package of Rs. 20.14, whereas, the highest international package offered to the students was Rs. 21.78 lakh. Keeping in mind that it was the first batch of PGDBA, achieving 100% placements has been a big success for the institutes.

Other prominent organisations that hired students from the PGDBA programme were Microsoft, Walmart Labs, JP Morgan Chase, PwC, Directi and JPMC.
Dean of NI&ER, IIM Calcutta, Prof Uttam Kumar Sarkar, talked about the programme and said that the institute was always optimistic about the performance of the Business Analytics programme as it was designed to suit the requirements of the industry. The response received by the PGDBA batch during placements is proof that the programme is a big success, Sarkar added.

Dean of Studies, ISI Kolkata, Professor Amita Pal, said that it is a huge encouragement for all the three institutes that the first batch of such an innovative programme has received such a good response.
