Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM-I) conducted the virtual inauguration for its 'Advanced Leadership Programme at SDA Bocconi' on November 2, 2020. The leadership programme has been conducted for the 1-year Full-Time Post Graduate Programme for Executives (EPGP) at IIM Indore.
IIM Indore offers the International Immersion Module in partnership with SDA Bocconi School of Management , one of the top-ranking b-schools of the word, as a part of its EPGP course. As a part of this module, students complete a term of their course studying at SDA Bocconi. This year, COVID-19 has forced the institute to conduct the programme online. The programme will be of 1-year duration and will be attended by 68 participants.
About the International Immersion Module
The international immersion module is a unique venture of IIMI in which students spend 1 term of their course studying with SDA Bocconi, Italy. The module focuses on contemporary topics relevant to the global business environment. Topics such as design thinking, luxury management, family business management, private equity and venture capital etc. are part of the course.

What The Speakers Said
Students got to hear from the positive impact that COVID has had and how to use it constructively. He also shared insights about the programme and its vision to craft responsible leaders. Prof Dash also gave some more insights about the programme.
Prof. Caselli talked about the need to find ways to recover the economy and the requirement of 'strong managerial skills' at the government and corporate level. Prof. Soda talked about the importance of networking and proper interaction during the course and Prof. Vecchi shared her thoughts on the need to remain sustainable and responsible.
