With an aim to help start-ups of its students, IIM Indore is going to convert its incubation centre into a company. The company will be run by the students and owned by the institution.
Many commendable initiatives are being taken by IIM Indore . They are helping their students by converting their Incubation Center into a fully-fledged company, which will be registered soon. The company will be managed and run by the students. The institute is seeking help and working along with Indore Smart city project company to give the Incubation Center turned company the most modern and creative look possible.
This initiative will prove to be a benchmark as it will not only help the creative minds to excel but also help medium and small-sized enterprises in the best possible ways. Students will be seen getting the seed money for their respective companies while studying on the campus, instead of graduating from the college and then looking for a job.
The Director of IIM-Indore is also seeking opportunities in providing consultancy to other startups. If they find an idea willing and capable enough, they will help the start-up in implementing the idea. This will bring in more collaborations for the university with the businesses worldwide.

There are a lot of other initiatives being taken by IIM Indore. As opposed to one-third of the students going out for international exchange programmes earlier, now the focus would be on increasing the number in the next three years. The director sees a vision that 100 per cent of the students get a chance to go out in other universities for exchange programmes.
Institute will soon be signing MoUs with University of Liverpool, England, University of Queensland, Australia and University of Saint Petersburg, Russia. Ten more business schools whose names are not yet disclosed. These MOUs will facilitate student and faculty exchange programmes and will also provide global exposure.
