IIM Indore completed the Final Placement Session for 2022 with 572 candidates participating in the process. Out of which, a candidate bagged an offer to work in India with an annual Package of Rs. 49 Lakh.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore released an official statement stating that they have successfully completed the placements of 2022. About 572 candidates took part in the placement process from the five-year management program (IPM) and the two-year post-graduate program (PGP).
IIM Indore also states that it has recorded the highest annual package offered by a company to a candidate to work in India for Rs 49 lakh. The raise is about 18% in comparison to last year. The annual packages offered to the candidates have seen a significant rise for all candidates.
During the placement sessions of 2022 at IIM Indore, over 180 recruiters offered jobs to the candidates. Out of which 30 were new ones. On average, the candidates were offered Rs. 25.01 Lakh, which is a rise of 6% as compared to last year.
Candidates ranking in the top 100 list were offered on average of Rs. 37.95 lakh. Also, candidates securing the top 200, were offered an average of Rs. 32.75 lakh. Further, even the median students were offered Rs. 24.09 Lakh which is also a rise of 6.6%.

During the final placement session of 2022, the majority of the jobs were offered from the counselling sector to the students, i.e. about 31%. The Finance sector and Sales and Marketing sectors offered about 20% and 18% jobs to the candidates respectively. About 16% of the jobs were offered in the General Management sector and the rest 15% were offered in the IT and Analytics Sector.
