The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has inaugurated a new campus in Mumbai. The new campus is located in Hiranandani Knowledge Park, Powai. Prof. Himanshu Rai, the director of IIM Indore, inaugurated the new state-of-the-art campus on November 16.
The campus will offer the flagship Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPMX) apart from several Management Development Programmes (MDPs) and executive programmes.
The new IIM Indore campus has an area of 20,000 sq. feet. Apart from 7 classrooms, it has 2 board rooms, a meeting room, studio room, cafeteria and recreation room. It is also equipped with a library containing 700 books and numerous e-books.

Students at the campus will also be given access to the IIM Indore library. Prof. Rai said that 'moving to a new campus in Mumbai - a city of dreams gives us confidence, but we are full of gratefulness.'
At his address during the inauguration, Prof. Rai shared the journey of IIM Indore from a small campus in Rajendra Nagar to a 193-acre campus located in Prabandh Sikhar, Indore. The institute had recently celebrated its Silver Jubilee on October 2.

Prof. Rai also talked about the institute's expansion overseas to Dubai and UAE. Various other members from the IIMI staff were also present on the occasion.
