IIM Indore has set up an incubation and innovation centre at the campus of the institute recently. The centre was inaugurated by the Chairman of IIM Indore, Deepak Satwalekar. Present on the occasion was the Director of the Institute, Rishikesha T Krishnan. It was a long pending demand of the students over the years that will help the students in multiple ways.

The new innovation and incubation centre will be known as Clique. In a press release, the institute stated that the centre aims to nurture the new entrepreneurs. It will develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem that is core to the institute’s mission. It will bring all entrepreneurs under one roof with services such as:
- Wireless internet facilities
- Meeting zones
- Make-shift ideation space
- Recreation corner
Sumeet Sahoo, a member of E-Cell, IIM Indore said that budding entrepreneurs can finally move out of their hostel room to Clique for a brainstorming session. IIM Indore has been facilitating entrepreneurship activities since a very long time.
Moreover, several start-ups from IIM Indore have been able to get funding from different sources. These include -
- Drona Maps
- Xpressomat
- Carving Minds
- Campus Khaana
- Kriger Campus
Keeping its pace with the start-up culture, IIM-Indore has been able to partner with various CSRs, corporates, venture capitalists and the government to catalyse entrepreneurship and also create a sustaining impact.

Down the line, the new centre will also offer access to investors and mentors, strategic guidance, a ready-made network of contacts. The centre will also find out potential entrepreneurs/ innovators from within the student pool. It will help them develop their business proposition into a solid and viable business.
