Indian Institute of Management, Indore has launched two virtual learning programmes, specifically for executives. The two virtual learning programmes launched by IIM Indore are: -
- Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Investment Banking (PGCPIB)
- Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Finance (PGCPF)
Freshers, graduates or postgraduates with at least two years of work experience can apply for the virtual learning courses mentioned-above.

Through PGCPIB course, the participants will be trained to handle different aspects of investment banking roles and responsibilities including binds, like stocks, security valuation and asset management. The participants of the course will become competent to meet specified investment goals for the benefit of investors. The course focuses on inculcating real-time skills and knowledge associated with investment banking. Practical case studies will also be a part of the curriculum of PGCIB course.
On the other hand, the PGCPF is a comprehensive, rigorous, customise course that prepares the participants for future banking and finance professions. PGCPF course offered by IIM Indore has twin objectives including: -
- Inculcating the knowledge of operational aspects of finance and banking
- Building managerial and technical skills in participants

The PGCPF course will also focus on practical aspects of financial markets. The participants will get in-depth knowledge of Indian economic environment, along with exposure to other functional fields of management. In all, PGCPF course is a blend of qualitative perspectives and quantitative techniques of financial management.
PGCIB course consists of 150 hours of lectures through information technology, while PGCPF course will have 200 hours of lectures. The lectures will be delivered through broadband-based technology comprising of two-way audio and video communication. Both the courses will have a five-day ‘On Campus Orientation’ module.
