The ratio of women students in Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) PGP-AMB and PGP batch 2017-19 has increased to 30.4% from 27% in the 2016-18 batch. Interestingly, the average work experience of the incoming batch has also increased from 11.3 months to 16.6 months. On the other hand, 74 percent of the inducted batch has some work experience. Currently, the percentage of women students in IIM Lucknow is at par with Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.

Recently, IIM Lucknow has concluded the induction programme for its incoming PGP-AMB and PGC batch 2017-19. The new batch consists of more than 450 students. The increase in the number of female candidates over the years indicates a higher gender diversity on the campus.
The induction programme was conducted in a span of two days. Mr. Niraj Seth, Executive Vice-President of Naukri was the Guest of Honour and he addressed the newly inducted batch. A noted alumnus of IIM Lucknow, Mr. Lakshmi Narayanan, Chief Endowment Officer of Azim Premji Foundation also addressed the students.

The ratio of women students in IIM Calcutta has doubled this year. The institute witnessed 31% of women students in the 2017-19 batch. Last year, there were 16.4% female students. The women ratio at few IIMs are listed below-
