At IIM Lucknow’s 33rd convocation which was held on March 16, 15 students were awarded medals for their excellent academic record. Out of the 682 IIM Lucknow students who received their diplomas, 404 students were from the 33rd batch of the Post Graduate programme in management, 39 students were from the 14th batch of postgraduate programme in agribusiness management, 10 were from the doctoral programme and 3 were from the Executive Fellow programme in management for working executives (WMP). Apart from that, there were 34 students from the PGP in sustainable management (PGPSM) from the Noida campus and 47 students were from the international programme in management for executives (IPMX) batches.

Apart from this, there were other medal winners who won the medals for being the best all-rounders and best student in Information Technology. 65 percent of the students out of all the graduating students belonged to engineering backgrounds.
IIM Lucknow was set up in 1984 as the fourth Indian Institute of Management (IIM) by the government of India. The institute offers post-graduate diploma, executive programmes and fellowship in management. It has been recognized as an institution of excellence by the ministry of human resources. In fact, IIM Lucknow is also the mentor institute for the newly set up IIM Rohtak , IIM Kashipur and IIM Jammu.

IIM Lucknow is built over a 200 acres site and has a second campus in Noida for one year full-time MBA programme and executive education. The IIM Lucknow programmes are accredited by the Association of MBA’s (AMBA).
