Indian Management Institute (IIM), Lucknow has received the coveted AACSB International accreditation for the global B-school network. AACSB was founded in 1916 and it is the longest-serving global business school accrediting body. Also, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is the world’s largest business education network for educators, students and businesses. It has more than 1,700 member organizations and 840 accredited business schools worldwide.
Director of IIM, Lucknow said that they are honoured to obtain the prestigious accreditation from AACSB, which acknowledges them as one of the world's leading institutions. It strengthens the dedication of IIM Lucknow to remain a leading business school providing socially conscious and globally applicable thought leadership.
She further added that this accreditation further confirms their ability to preserve rigour and consistency in all our operations. I am sure that AACSB accreditation will improve our international linkages and provide new global cooperation opportunities. According to IIM Lucknow, AACSB's accreditation encourages new ways of thinking in business education around the world and, as a result, just 5% of the world's schools have received a bachelor's degree or higher. "AACSB accreditation honours organisations with an emphasis on excellence in all fields, including teaching, testing, curriculum development, and student learning," said Stephanie M Bryant, AACSB International Executive Vice President and Chief Accreditation Officer.

AACSB accreditation offers a framework of fifteen international standards against which business schools worldwide measure the quality of their education services. AACSB-accredited schools in the business education sector have successfully undergone a comprehensive peer-review process, to ensure they have the tools, skills and dedication required to provide first-rate, forward-looking business education to students.
