L-Incubator or Enterprise Incubation Centre at IIM Lucknow has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TERI (The Energy Resource Institute). The aim of this significant collaboration is to nurture start-ups in the energy sector. The MoU was signed on Wednesday, March 07, 2018, at New Delhi between L-Incubator Director, Professor M Akbar and TERI Director, Mr. Puneet Chandra.
After signing the MoU, Mr. Puneet Chandra expressed that TERI would be happy and esteemed to collaborate with the premier institute like IIM Lucknow . The collaboration will play an overridden role in nurturing the start-ups in the energy sector by providing them adequate guidance and mentorship.

Professor Akbar stated that the collaboration is just a beginning, and L-Incubator is planning to join hands with various institutes to promote sustainable business.
Vice President of L-Incubator, SM Rounaque Mustafa advised TERI to introduce a joint accelerator programme with a motive to boost the sustainability based start-ups and foster sustainable environmental and industrial development.

IIM Lucknow established L-Incubator in 2013, and it was shifted to Noida in 2016. Over the years, L-Incubator has been playing a magnificent role in assisting the entrepreneurial talent in Delhi, as well as, National Capital Region.
Recently, L-Incubator of IIM Lucknow invited applications from potential start-ups with outstanding business ideas for a contest. The winners of this start-up contest will be provided infrastructure, marketing guidance and financial support by IIM Lucknow. Over 10 start-up projects will be shortlisted by the jury.
