IIM Lucknow to Launch Short-Term Certification Course in Business Management

IIM Lucknow (Indian Institute of Management) and Safeducate have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a short-term certification course in business management . Safeducate is India’s largest consulting, training and skilling firm.

The certification course offered by IIM Lucknow and Safeducate will enhance the practical skills and knowledge base of students and make them capable of setting up their own ventures/ businesses. The short duration certification courses are offered to students from business households who have prior exposure to their family business.

Safeducate trains students from business families in specific skills such as human resource management, marketing fundamentals, customer relationship management, operations and supply chain management, innovative thinking and business strategy.

The certification course in business management includes 100-120 hours of classroom lectures . The participants of the courses can also access course material and online learning aids.

CEO and Co-Founder of Safeducate, Divya Jain explained that the initiative to launch certification course in business management in collaboration with IIM Lucknow is to encourage vocational training and upskilling among the students. Students who already have an exposure to family business can strengthen their business skills and values through a certification course in business management.
