IIM-Lucknow to increase fees by 30%

IIM-Lucknow has decided to increase fees by almost 30% for the batch of 2017-18. According to sources, tuition fees for the two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management will be hiked up to Rs 14 lakh. At present fees for PG course is Rs 10.80 lakh. Among all IIMs, it was only the Lucknow centre which, nine years later, slashed its fee by 10%. Even IIM-L increase its fee to Rs 14 lakh, it will be far less than other old IIMs.

In 2013, IIM-L had reduced its fees to Rs 10.8 lakh from Rs 12 lakh, even as the older, more established IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore had increased their fees for that period.

The new fees will be applicable to both post-graduate MBA and post graduate programme in agri-business management. The duration of both the courses is two years.
