Since four months, there has not been any report regarding the placements at Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur . Now, the institute has finally released the placements report of PGP batch.
As per the official report, a total number of 27 students bagged jobs in placements out of the 53 students enrolled for PGP course. With an objective to contribute to the social sector, two students from IIM Nagpur opted for fellowship with Tata Trusts. Out of 27 students who got placed, two students bagged jobs in the company where they did the internship.
The institute further announced that the placement process is still underway, and the final placements report is yet to out. Once, the recruitment process is over, the institute will release the final placements report.

Communication Manager of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad , Mr. Deepak Bhaat revealed that IIM Nagpur is yet to place 23 students. However, some of the officials were of the opinion that IIM Nagpur has been struggling to wrap up the placements for the past four months. The institute neither is giving official information on placements nor allowing the students to speak to the media.

Mr. Deepak Bhatt mentioned that 40 companies took part in the recruitment process, and 40% out of these 40 companies were from Nagpur. The average package offered by various companies was Rs. 13.05 lakh per annum and the lowest package offered was Rs. 9 lakh per annum.
The Communication Officer of IIM Ahmedabad further indicated that the students bagged jobs in various reputed companies. The students were placed in various challenging roles that include operations, finance, analytics, marketing, consulting and strategy.
