IIM Raipur will host a local edition of the Hult Prize which will be the world’s largest student competition.
The annual Hult Prize awards one million dollars in start-up funding. It is given to a team of students that develops the most breakthrough and radical idea and offer the solution to world’s toughest social challenges.

The Hult Prize is hosting college and university events throughout the world in partnership with the Clinton Foundation and former US President Bill Clinton, to find out the next game-changing start-up.
IM Raipur initiative will be lead by Abhishek Solanki. The winner of the intra-campus event will participate in the National Finals of Hult Prize India. While top 10 Hult Prize India winners will compete in one of five regional finals happening in different parts of the World like San Francisco, Boston, Dubai, London, and Shanghai.

One winning team from every host city will move onto a summer business accelerator program. All the participants will receive advisory, mentorship, and strategic planning as they create prototypes and launch their new social business.
A final round of competition will be organized by the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) at the annual meeting in September. At the event, CGI delegates will select a winning team to be awarded the $1,000,000 prize by Former President Clinton.
