The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Rohtak had announced the introduction of a 5-year integrated LL.B programme earlier this year. The application process for the course is ongoing and candidates can visit the official website of IIM Rohtak and apply by entering their name, date of birth, CLAT application number, email and phone number.
The course will be focused on providing in-depth knowledge of business management with details of the law and governance. As per IIM Rohtak, the programme will provide an opportunity for students to pursue an education of the global level through a curriculum and pedagogy that best reflects the study of comparative law, international law , domestic law, and foreign law.
An official notification was released by IIM Rohtak to announce the introduction of this course which stated that the students who opt for this course will undergo courses in the domain of International Affairs, Business Management, Public Policy, Humanities, and Foreign Languages. Apart from that, they will also get an internship opportunity.
The Director of IIM Rohtak, Dheeraj Sharma, expressed his delight in IIM Rohtak being the first and only college among the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) to have introduced such an innovative programme, the focus of which will be on integrating management and legal education. He said that the course will result in excellent learning outcomes for the students who enrol for this programme. Sharma claimed that IIM Rohtak's BBA LLB course will make these candidates astute lawyers with business management expertise.
