IIM Sambalpur opts out of IIM CAP 2025 Counselling: In a significant move, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur has decided to opt out of the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2025 for the 2025-27 MBA batch. The CAP process traditionally involves a centralized admission system for newer IIMs, such as IIM Kashipur, IIM Bodh Gaya, and IIM Sirmaur, where candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT scores, Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). By moving away from CAP, IIM Sambalpur will independently evaluate applications, conduct interviews, and finalize selections for its MBA program. This change also extends to the newly launched MBA in Business Analytics (MBA-BA), which offers an exciting option for a dual degree.
