Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchi (IIM T) alumni are looking at opening alumni city chapters in Bengaluru and Chennai. This was discussed during the IIMT Impressions which was conducted by the institute last week. Over 40 alumni from all over India visited IIM T campus to take part in the IIMT Impressions, the annual meet. The meeting was a platform for students, alumni and faculty to forge new associations according to IIM T Director, Bhimaraya Metri.

The alumni members joined the students in a sapling planting drive on the campus, which was conducted by Elixir, the Social Responsibility Club. More than 500 saplings were planted.
IIM Trichy was set up in 2011 and was the 11th IIM to come up in India. The institute also has a satellite campus in Chennai which offers a two-year PG programme for working professionals. IIM Trichy offers a full-time residential two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management, a Post Graduate Programme in Business Management for working executives at the Chennai campus and a Fellow Programme in Management for doctoral candidates. In terms of placements, the final placements for 2019 ended with 100% placements.

were various companies at both the national and international levels, offering roles to students in various domains with lucrative salary packages. Some of the renowned companies were Deloitte, Bosch, Cognizant, HCL, Microsoft, Larsen Tourbo, SBI, Accenture, Bharat Petroleum etc.
