IIM Tiruchirappalli announces admission for its full-time, residential doctoral Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) ­2017. Students are expected to complete the programme within 5 years. The programme can be completed within 4 years and the maximum duration of the programme is 7 years.

How to Apply for IIM Tiruchirappalli Doctoral Programme:

Candidates have to download the application form and the recommendation letter format from the website of IIM Trichy. These recommendation letters must have two referees and should be attached with the print out of the completed application form. It should be sent to IIM Tiruchirappalli along with the print out of the screen shot of the NEFT Payment made. Application fee of INR 500/- to be remitted through NEFT SB A/c No. 32170808935; IFSC Code: SBIN0001617 of SBI, NIT Campus before January 20 2017. (No fee for SC/ST/DAP candidates)

Selection for IIM Tiruchirappalli Doctoral Programme:

After the candidates are shortlisted, they will be called for an interview to Tiruchirappalli. Once they clear the interview round, they will be interviewed by an FPM panel and this FPM panel will make the final admission offers. The following criteria would also be taken into consideration in the selection process:

  • Applicant’s performance in GMAT / CAT / GATE /UGC­JRF/GRE
  • Past academic performance
  • Work experience
  • Aptitude for research
  • Performance in the interviews

Eligibility for IIM Tiruchirappalli Doctoral Programme:

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications to apply for IIMT’s Doctoral Programme:

  • A master degree with 55 percent marks in any discipline, and bachelor’s degree with at­least 50 percent marks.
  • Five years or four years Integrated Master’s Degree Programme in any discipline, with 55 percent marks.
  • A professional qualification like ICWA, CA, CS.
  • A four-year bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks, besides the score of CAT/GRE/GMATGATE/UGC­JRF as applicable.

Those candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying degree programme can also apply. But they will have to submit the qualifying certificates latest by June 30, 2017, issued by the university they had studied from. The deadline for submission of mark sheet and the certificate is 31st December 2017. If they don't submit their certificates in time the candidate's provisional admission will be cancelled.

Last Date for IIM Tiruchirappalli Doctoral Programme:

20 th January 2017, is the last date for submission of application.
