Indian Institute of Management, Trichy organised a guest lecture on ‘Challenges Faced by Women Entrepreneurs’. The guest speaker was Prachi Garg, founder of www.ghoomophiro.com a startup that helps in curating corporate tours. The guest lecture was supervised by Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of the Institute.

Addressing the students, Garg highlighted the role of women in the society. She pointed out the realities and social perceptions regarding women entrepreneurs. She clearly indicated that a woman always needs family support and funding to reach her goals.
Sharing her experiences, Garg said that she wanted to be a boss herself and loves travelling a lot. She likes sharing her day to day experiences with others.

She indicated that management courses are the best platform for women to develop ideas, test them and get them out into the market. On this occasion a book named ‘Super Women was launched which was authored by Speaker. The book consists of 20 life stories of successful women entrepreneurs. All the students received the signed copies of the book.
