IIM Udaipur Hosts Global Tech Community to Persuade use of Tech for Humanity

IIM Udaipur Hosts Global Tech Community: IIM Udaipur's Incubation Center is hosting the global tech community's first book series launch and social entrepreneurship award in 2023 at the IIMU campus for the first time. Throughout the tech community, 500+ innovators, scientists, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and change-makers connect to explore how tech can be used to benefit society and highlight the exceptional journeys of individuals.

Inspire the audience to take a step towards entrepreneurship by inviting the incubation team and Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director of IIM Udaipur, to open the landmark event. The event was attended by Mr. Rajeev Gupta, the CEO/Founder of Resource Development International, IMT-Ghaziabad alumni, Mrs. Richa Sharma, ex-Director of Bertelsmann and ex-VP of Yes Bank and Dr. L. Fimate, and more.

For the occasion, several international members of the tech community were present, including Adonis Simo, a member of OSS Cameroon and tech product manager at Workbud, as well as Anna Olizarivska, Clubhouse Icon, a Ukrainian anti-war activist and Blend Localization's customer service expert. The Finding Humans in Tech's Social Entrepreneurship Award 2023 was awarded to Nelly Cheboi, CEO/Co-Founder of TechLit Africa from Kenya. MIT Bootcamps, which is part of the MIT Sloan School of Management, was also graced by Hanna Adeyema, founder of Tenacity Health and director of the program. In her speech, she shared her experience as a community member.

Founder of the tech community Lana Louphul, a tech entrepreneur and MBA student at IIM Udaipur, advocates the use of technology for the betterment of mankind. In addition to attending the MIT Venture Acceleration Program in Boston, Massachusetts this fall, her venture was selected for the MIT Bootcamp for Innovation Leadership.
