The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Alumni Association, Patna Chapter, organized its annual meet recently as part of the association’s meet in seven state capitals besides New Delhi.
On this occasion, four alumni of the institute who are officers working in Bihar cadre got felicitated. The alumni of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication who got felicitated at the IIMC Alumni association’s meet at Patna are the Block Development officer of Bikram, Mr. Prakash Chandra, the Nagar Parishad’s executive officer Mr. Raj Kishore Lal.
The alumni of Indian Institute of Mass communication who got felicitated at the function included the additional election officer of East Champaran, Mr. Kapil Sharma and the Block Development officer (BDO) of Katra in Muzaffarpur Mr. Amarjeet Kumar.
More than 30 alumni from the city of Patna apart from the other districts of Bihar attended the meet.
Indian Institute of Mass Communication was established on 17th August of the year 1965 at the hands of the minister of broadcasting at that period, Mrs. Indira Gandhi. The college started with a small staff and gradually grew to today’s stature. The students of Bihar have studied at the college in a huge number and the alumni belonging from Bihar state are working across the country in diverse fields and reputable posts.
