IIT Delhi Placements 2023-24IIT Delhi Placements 2023-24: During the placement session 2023-24, a total of 480 students from IIT Delhi secured jobs after day 1. The candidates, who were selected, will be eligible to join after ending their academic session in May 2024. The recruitment took place on December 1, 2023, both via physical and online modes. As per the data released by the institute, a total of 360 firms from domestically and globally have been shortlisted students, who will be placed for 660 job profiles. According to Professor R Ayothiraman, the IIT Delhi students will get the chance to work across a diversified array of companies.
- Among 480 full-time job offers, 450 jobs were reserved for unique selections. Rest were the pre-placement offers
- 25 students directly got international postings, such as in Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States, who will move overseas after completing their respective courses
IIT Delhi Placements 2023-24: Salary Highlights
As per the report, the higher authority of IIT Delhi has decided not to disclose the high-value packages. However, experts assume that the average salary of the students after placement will be 60 lakh-70 lakh; whereas the highest package will be around 1.5 crore (tentatively).

- Texas Instruments etc.
For instance, 18 students were directly hired from the campus by Microsoft, and statistically, the recruitment rate at IIT Delhi is quite higher than the previous year.
