IIT Hyderabad has introduced a four-year B.Tech course in Artificial Intelligence (AI) . The new course, i.e. B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence will be offered from the academic session 2019-20. IIT Hyderabad has emerged as the first Indian institute to introduce B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence. So far, only two institutes across the world are offering B.Tech in AI, i.e., MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and Carnegie Mellon University. Both institutes are US-based. In all, IIT Hyderabad is the third global institute to introduce B.Tech in AI.
