Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad 's Centre for Healthcare Entrepreneurship (CfHE) has invited applications for its one-year fellowship for 2020. Selected candidates will be incubated from THE Indian and the US academics in collaboration with Bay Area entrepreneurs, expert clinicians, and med-tech Industry. The application process is underway now on their official website and admissions will be done till 30th November 2019. The fellowship will start from January/February 2020.
The fellows of IIT Hyderabad will get a stipend of Rs. 50,000/- per month for one year of their fellowship. The fellow start-ups will also avail 3D Prototyping facilities and other research-related features in the IIT Hyderabad Campus.
The fellows will be instructed about the bio-design process from the academics at IIT and will also be given access to mentors, investors, guides, faculties, and industry professionals.
This full-time in-residence fellowship and training will also include innovation from lab-prototype to commercialisation through topics such as compliance aspects, intellectual property rights, markets, and new ventures, entrepreneurship development etc.
