The Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad will start a residential programme for senior college students and recent graduates. This programme will offer certificate courses in Artificial Intelligence, the blockchain, Internet of Things and other emerging technologies. The programme will start on 27th May 2019, in association with TalentSprint.
According to the IIT-H official notification, the residential programme is a great opportunity for the candidates to enhance their skills. They will get to learn Internet of Things, Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain for five weeks upon the completion of which they will secure a certificate. This programme will be carried forward by the professors of IIT Hyderabad.

The director of IIT Hyderabad, UB Desai, said that unlike most executive programmes that focus on enhancing senior professional skills of students, their aim is to develop smart and talented youth that has strong knowledge of emerging technological advancements and is capable to fuel the tech sector of India. He added that this summer programme is an initiative they have taken with TalentSprint and it will leverage the expertise that many IIT-H professors have.

The co-founder of TalentSprint, Shantanu Paul further said that the residential provision will allow the participants to experience how life at IIT Hyderabad is like while gaining quality education. The certificate course will open new and exciting career opportunities for them. The programme has limited seats and costs Rs. 2.65 lakhs.
