The annual techno-cultural fest of IIT Hyderabad ‘ Elan & Nvision ’ concluded on a grand note on February 11, 2018. The three-day event began on February 09, 2018, with various programmes and competitions lined up for enthusiastic participants. As a part of the fest, over 180 literary, cultural, technical and IT competitions were organised. This year, the event was organised by the student community of IIT Hyderabad .
The second day of the event comprised of different cultural events. The major highlight was the performance of popular singer Kailash Kher and his band Kailasa . The bank rocked the event and enthralled the students with their stunning performance. Some of the major events on Day 2 were: -
- Intense Break Dance Competition
- FBB Campus Princess
- Regional Audition of Indian Hip Hop Dance Championship
- Robosoccer
- Quadcopter Challenge
- Performance Poetry Workshop
A 24-hour Hackathon competition was also the part of Day 2. Software experts and students had participated to come up with innovative ideas and solutions.

Quiz competitions were organised exclusively for book lovers and quizzes. Sharing her experience, a student from a private engineering college in Hyderabad expressed that participating in competitions was a great experience. It is the best opportunity to interact and exchange ideas, she added.
The spoken word poetry workshop drew the attention of literary and poetry lovers. The audience had a wonderful experience by watching the machines at work during Quadcopter Challenge and Robosoccer.
