The students of Indian Institute of Technology Indore have started a campaign in various colleges and schools of the city in order to promote entrepreneurship.
Ronak Prajapati who is an executive of Student Entrepreneurship Support Cell (SESC) of IIT Indore said,” To support entrepreneurship we have transcended campus’s boundaries. We are holding sessions in various colleges and schools in the city to promote entrepreneurship through education and conversations by eminent speakers and conducting quizzes which will feature exciting prizes.”
SESC was formed in August 2013 with an agenda to bring in more people who would be creators rather than producers and people who would challenge the usual and be the conquerors of what is deemed impossible. Since its inception the SESC has been striving to achieve all that it set out for.
SESC has maintained its leadership as far as promoting entrepreneurship is concerned by attracting the smartest minds, giving them a chance to showcase their talent and lastly employing the finest of ways to advertise sponsors.
As a part of its continuous efforts to promote entrepreneurship the SESC would be holding an entrepreneurship week (e-week) from January 23 to January 30.
According to Ronak,” E-week would see active involvement of many organizations that support entrepreneurship; corporate entities; industry captains, experts, non-profits, and faculty leaders to inspire, encourage and guide students. The week would see a host of guest lectures, business case solving, debate competition, workshop etc.
Doyens from the academia and corporate leaders have been invited at the institute to share their valuable insights and their rich experience of contemporary business issues, the challenges they faced and the way they dealt with them. The keynote speakers would be Sunil Miglani, director SkillTrack; Vishwas Mudgal, CEO and co-founder of GoodWorkLabs and Ishita Anand, co-founder &CEO of Bitgiving.
A quizzing event-Cognito would also be held for the smartest minds in the heart of India and would be hosted by the world quizzing champion Vikram Joshi.
How a B-Plan is made- A business plan is a formal statement of business goals, reasons that make them attainable, and plans to reach them. It may also contain background information about the organisation or team attempting to reach those goals. Founder of Swan Angel, Abhishek Sanghvi would be delivering a session on the same.
