IIT JAM Application Form 2024 Last Date October 13: Important instructions regarding photograph and signature

IIT JAM Application Form 2024 : The last date to submit IIT JAM application form 2024 is October 13 . With only 9 days left for the registration to conclude, candidates who have not yet registered must visit j am.iitm.ac.in to drop their applications at the JOAPS 2024 candidate portal. Along with filling out the form, candidates also need to upload their photograph and signature for authentication purposes. The guidelines for uploading both have been provided here. Ensure to follow all the instructions below to avoid form rejection by the conducting authorities.

IIT JAM Application Form 2024: Important Instructions Regarding Photograph Upload

Candidates must follow all the instructions below to upload their photograph accurately in IIT JAM 2024 application form:

• The photograph should not be blurred.

• It should be a recent and a coloured photograph.

• The background of the photo should be in a very light colour, preferably white.

• The photographs should be of high resolution.

• The photograph should not be taken through mobile phones.

• The size of the photograph should be 3.5 cm Width × 4.5 cm Height.

• The photograph should be uploaded in a JPEG/JPG format.

• The minimum and the maximum size of the photograph should be 480 × 640 and 240 × 320 in pixels respectively.

• The file size should be between 20 KB to 200 KB with an aspect ratio of 0.66 width and 0.89 height.

• The image should have 50% of the face. Other features like the forehead, nose, eyes, ears, and chin should be clearly visible.

• There should not be any shadow, cloth, hat, or mask over the photo.

• The photo can be taken with spectacles, but only clear glasses are allowed.

• If there are glares from the spectacles, avoid wearing glasses.

• The photograph should be of high quality.

  

IIT JAM Application Form 2024: Important Instructions Regarding Signature Upload

The instructions to upload the signature accurately in IIT JAM 2024 application form have been provided below:

• The signature should not be blurred.

• The photograph should be of good quality.

• The image of the signature should be taken in dark blue or black pen.

• The size of the signature should be within 2 cm in height and 7 cm in width.

• The name written in capital letters or initials will not be accepted.

• The picture should not be taken from mobile phones, only a picture taken by a professional camera will be allowed.

• The signature should be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format.

• The minimum and the maximum size of the photograph should be 80 × 280 and 160 × 560 pixels respectively.

• The file size of the image should be between 10 KB to 150 KB.
