IIT JAM First Admission List Release Date 2024IIT JAM First Admission List Release Date 2024: The IIT Madras will release the IIT JAM first admission list on May 31, 2024. The authority will release the first merit list based on the preferences/ options selected by the candidates while filling the admission form. To view the IIT JAM admission status, the candidates should enter their login credentials. If the candidates are allotted a seat, then they should choose any of the three options, such as Accept and Freeze, Accept with Upgrade, Reject and Quit on or before June 4, 2024. Note, that if the seats will remain vacant after the first round of admission, then the second admission list will be released.
If the candidates will choose the “Accept and Freeze” or “Accept with Upgrade” decision, then they should pay Rs 15000 as the seat booking fee (Rs 7500 for the reserved category candidates). Post that, the seat booking fees will be transferred to the admitting institute and then finally the fees will be adjusted against the Institute fee during the admission time.
Also, if the candidates are not satisfied with the IIT JAM first admission list, and want to upgrade the seat in the next round, then they should choose the “Accept with Upgrade” option, pay the online fees within the stipulated time, and wait for the next round.
