A career-focused seed-funded educational startup named Masai School began its operations on Monday in Bengaluru. The aim of the school is to train a minimum of 300 students per year in the coding sectors. The school offers a learning programme which is focused on coding subjects. The school is willing to produce highly skilled coding professionals for the job sector.
The founder of Masai School is an IIT Kanpur alumnus named Prateek Shukla, who is also the co-founder of Grabhouse which is a home rental startup has announced the founding of the school on Twitter. Talking about the achievement the school gained in its maiden year, Shukla wrote that the Masai School has received 150 applications already in a single day! He also informed that the first batch of the school will start learning from 5th August.
The school will provide a full-stack web development program for 5 months free of any cost. It will also conduct coaching on short skills and personality development for the students taking admission.
Prateek Shukla, in a statement, said that the curriculum will be set such a way that it will complement the current industrial standards and job markets. He added that in Masai, the students will be given the lessons of coding like working in a corporate structure which will bring them experience. The classes will be conducted for 10 to 12 hours a day.

Mr. Shukla said that currently, the companies value skillset more than the degree and educational backgrounds. The school will work as a catalyser to fill up the gap in the skill front.

One of the most attractive features of Masai School is that the course will be offered free of cost. However, the students, after getting a job, have to pay the due fees to the institute.
