Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur's Centre of Excellence (CoE) has developed an al-powered startup to help police combat crimes in the country. The goal of the search engine is to make the investigation and police process more efficient. Through this Al Powered Search Engine, the officers will be able to get all the crime-related data with one press.

The Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF), located in Lucknow, is attempting to construct a first-of-its-kind AI-powered big data search engine to aid policing and controlling crimes . Apart from other services, it will combine data from all important stakeholders to develop a search engine that would aid in predictive policing, crime mapping, and analysis.
The FCRF Co-Founder Shashank Shekhar stated, "We will gather all necessary data from multiple sources and create a single platform that can perform data analysis using regression models, data mining, and artificial intelligence, as well as provide insights into the crime pattern that is unique to a given region."

The crimes rising in the state and the country is, the police departments faced difficulties in controlling the crimes. With the development of the latest search engines for crime mapping and crime-related details, the police will be able to gather all the information and combat crimes easily.
