Students’ Entrepreneurship Cell of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur will organise Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2018 from February 2 to February 4, 2018. The entrepreneurship summit will be open for popular business personalities, college students, new-age entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. During the summit, discussions will take place on entrepreneurial experiences and endeavours. All the participants of the summit will take a pledge to take entrepreneurship in India to greater scales.
Similar to previous editions of GES, the 2018 edition of GES will also witness the participation of renowned personalities and stalwarts. With an objective to build entrepreneurial acumen of participants, popular companies such as Calcutta Angles, Deloitte, Amazon Web Services, Intel, Microsoft, Samsung and other corporate giants will organize workshops.

GES serves as a platform or conclave for discussion of programmes and opportunities accelerated towards popularizing entrepreneurship across the globe. A panel discussion, i.e., Connect and Dots will be conducted through which discussions will take place amongst the entrepreneurship cells in the country. The discussion will also focus on the role of entrepreneurship in the current scenario and the activities taking by various institutes to promote entrepreneurship in their respective campuses.
Start-up camp will be one of the major highlights of GES 2018. The camp will help start-ups to hire the best talent among the participants of GES. These companies might provide either internship or job opportunities to the interested and selected participants. Popular investors will be present on the campus, which is an added advantage to start-ups.

The registrations for GES 2018 are open on the official website of IIT Kharagpur’s E-Cell. December 20, 2017, is the last date for Early Bird Registrations.
