IIT Kharagpur JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff Closing Rank 2024IIT Kharagpur JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff 2024: IIT Kharagpur has abolished direct admissions via JoSAA to the 5-year dual degree courses, thus the institute’s seat intake for the respective course has increased and the overall intake remained the same. For example, the seats under the CSE dual degree were allotted under the CSE 4-year regular degree programme. Due to this, the cutoff seems to have dropped. Last year, Round 1 cutoff was 261 for CSE open students, while this year, it was 414.
From Round 2 onwards, the cutoff will not have such a drastic drop. In fact, IIT Kharagpur JoSAA Round 2 cutoff 2024 is still 414 for the CSE open category. Also, while taking admission to IIT Kharagpur, students shall note that the “branch change” option after 1st year is abolished as well.
