Madras Entrepreneur Cell (E-Cell) of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT, Madras) launched an initiative to support and promote small and medium businesses. The aim of this program is to help aspiring entrepreneurs to be successful.
The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Madras is operated by students. Each year this cell takes up a new initiative to spread awareness on social issues. The topic chosen by the cell this year was digital awareness.
This program will aim to create awareness about opportunities in the digital space and beyond it. The program will also talk about making the screen time qualitative and minimal.
The ‘D-Well’ initiative focuses on art entrepreneurship. Workshops will be arranged for students where the main focus will be on building the career of designers, writers, musicians, etc through digital platforms. Activities and discussions about the world before digital media and also the future of digital media will be discussed.
Head of PR and Marketing of E-Cell, Shubham Subhash Danannavar said that there are a lot of advantages of digital media but we do not use it properly rather the young people nowadays just scroll their Instagram and other social sites. The E-Cell of IIT Madras will conduct various outreach programs in order to create awareness among the youth said Shubham Subhash Danannavar.

This is a very important initiative taken by IIT Madras for the young generation to understand the new opportunities available nowadays in the digital platform. This initiative will also help the art entrepreneurs to have clarity.
