The Indian Institute of Technology of Mandi recently celebrated its convocation ceremony. It was their 4 th convocation ceremony and the chief guest for the event was one of the Professors of Wuppertal University of Germany, Prof. Joachim Holtz.
Other eminent people who were a part of the event included:
- N Natarajan, Former Chairman, Board of Governors of IIT Mandi as the Guest of Honour
- Timothy A Gonsalves, Director of IIT Mandi

In the convocation ceremony, 140 degrees were given out to the deserving students. Following are the details:

A student of the graduating batch of Bachelors in Technology, Rohit Patial was given the President of India gold medal and the Institute Silver Medal. These medals were awarded to him for his outstanding performance among the B. Tech graduating batch and for his explicit performance in the Computer Science and Engineering department.
The Director’s Gold Medal for all round excellence in academics was awarded to Prateek Gauba and for his amazing performances and contributions in the extra-curricular activities of the institute.
Amogh Almadi was awarded the Institute Silver Medal for his stunning performance in Mechanical Engineering.
All the guests and faculty members wished the students a very happy future.
