Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has launched ADVAITA, a digitisation project. The project enables the institute to ease its operations and coordinate various tasks of departments. The project connects all the three campuses, i.e., Saharanpur, Roorkee and Greater Noida.

The project will be initiated in different phases. The first phase of the project will be the digitisation of core practical matters related to accounts, purchase orders, disbursements, inventory management and so forth.

The second phase of the project is related to business information management, analytics, collaborative interfaces, advanced financial reporting and paper-free.
At the end of the second phase, the institute will hold an interaction with Atos, a digital services firm and will discuss the scope of the project. The primary objective of the meeting is to create a paperless eco-system. Other issues like the use of historical data to access budgeting, mechanism of automated monitoring and advanced accounting processes.
