IIT Roorkee along with Imarticus Learning is set to launch a certificate programme for 5 months in Data Science and Machine Learning. The iHUB DivyaSampark at IIT Roorkee will conduct the programme. The programme will start its classes on June 30, 2022. The classes will only be conducted on the weekends.
The classes for the courses will be delivered by the experts in the Data Science Industry. Faculties from IIT Roorkee, IIT Ropar, and IIT Guwahati will participate in imparting the classes for the course through live instructions. The course is drafted in a manner to provide strong foundational knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning. Participants will acquire specialization in Machine Learning with Python for aspects such as data-driven decision making.

The participants of the Data Science and Machine Learning Certificate course will be involved in learning meaningful data insights and helping to grow their business. The certificate for the Data Science and Machine Learning Certificate course will be issued by the Department of Science and Technology, iHUB DivyaSampark at IIT Roorkee, along with Imarticus Learning. The certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS).
Candidates who successfully complete the Data Science and Machine Learning Certificate course may also seek careers in the Data Science field such as Business Intelligence Experts, Data Managers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Analytics Consultants, or Business Analysts.

Candidates will also be offered an opportunity to pitch their plans and ideas for start-up at the iHUB DivyaSampark at IIT Roorkee. They will also receive funding from the institute for their start-ups. Further, at the end of the course, candidates will have to report to the iHUB DivyaSampark Greater Noida campus for the campus immersion module, where candidates will interact with faculties and peers.
