Important documents required on the exam day of JEE Main 2024 Session 1: JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 exam of Session 1 will begin on January 27, 2024. The candidates, who are appearing for the exam, are advised to keep ready the required documents that should be carried to the exam hall on the exam day, a day before the exam date. So that they will not face any last-minute hassle or miss out on any important object to carry. Entry without the required objects to the exam hall will lead to not getting permission to sit for the JEE Main 2024 exam.
Documents to Carry on JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam
Candidates should carry the following documents on the JEE Main 2024 exam day.
- JEE Main 2024 admit card Session 1 (preferably colored printout on A4-sized paper)
- One passport-sized photograph (similar to the candidates uploaded during the JEE Main application form fill-up process). The same will be pasted on the attendance sheet at the centre
- A valid photo ID proof in Original (any of / PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhar Card (with photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card/ 12th Class Admit card)
- PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority for the PwD candidates
- Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/ fruits and transparent water bottles
Things Not to be Carried to Exam Hall:
Candidates are not allowed to carry certain documents to the JEE Main exam centre:
- Do not carry a Geometry box, Pencil Box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of paper, Stationary/ Textual materials
- Do not carry electronic gadgets such as mobile phones/earphones/microphones/ pager/calculators/ Slide Rulers/ Log Tables/ Camera/ Tape Recorder
- Do not carry any blank sheets for rough work
- Do not carry any packaged foods inside the exam hall
