CLAT 2024 Counselling: The Consortium of National Law Universities has begun the CLAT 2024 Counselling process today, December 11, 2023 . Candidates who have successfully cleared the CLAT UG and PG exams will be eligible to take part in the CLAT 2024 counselling process. The registrations have started online according to the rank list along with fee payment until December 20, 2023 . The counselling session for the academic year 2024-2025 will be conducted in 5 rounds including steps consisting of registration, counselling fee payment, allotment list, and payment of the balance university fee for the ‘Freeze’ option.

Important Instructions regarding CLAT 2024 Counselling
Candidates appearing for CLAT 2024 Counselling must keep in mind the instructions laid down by the authorities below.
- Registrations for admission to NLUs must be completed at the official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in before the deadline.
- Successfully registered aspirants will only be considered for allotment of seats. In total five allotment lists will be released by NLUs for admission.
- Aspirants must note that mere registration for the counselling does not guarantee admission at your respective NLUs.
- If a candidate is allotted a seat among 22 National Law Universities in India, then, he/she can exercise any of the Freeze, Float, or Exit options during the CLAT 2024 counselling process.
- The confirmation fee (non-refundable) of INR 20,000 must be paid by candidates who have been allotted a seat. Remember the confirmation fee has to be paid once only during the entire admission process.
- All necessary scanned documents to be uploaded for verification must be kept ready. The authorities can cancel the candidature of any student if they do not submit the specified documents for CLAT 2024 UG and PG admission.
- The final allotment of seats will be subject to satisfactory document verification and the receipt of the fees paid.
- Those who will not be allotted a seat in any round will be allotted seats during subsequent counselling rounds against the particular category (if a vacancy arises).
