Important Instructions Regarding JoSAA 2021 Round 2 Seat Acceptance & Reporting Process

JoSAA 2021 Round 2 seat allotment result has been released on November 1, and the last date for seat acceptance is November 3. Candidates who have secured a seat in Round 2 must make a note of some important instructions regarding the seat acceptance process. After accepting the seat allotment by selecting the ‘Freeze’ option, the candidates will have to upload the required documents and pay the seat acceptance fee. Only those candidates who uploaded the documents and paid the seat acceptance fee shall be allowed to take admission at the allotted institute. Important Instructions Regarding JoSAA 2021 Round 2 Seat Acceptance

Here are the important instructions pertaining to JoSAA 2021 round 2 seat acceptance process –

• Candidates who have been allocated the admission as per the first choice will not have float/ slide options. Such candidates will have to choose the ‘Freeze’ option and pay the seat acceptance fee
• Candidates who chose float/ slide in Round 1 and got a better allotment in Round 2 (as per first choice) will not have any right on the seat allocated in Round 1. For such candidates, seat allotment in Round 1 shall automatically be cancelled
• Candidates who did not get an allotment in Round 2 can wait for the Round 3 allotment. However, it is important to check the previous years’ JoSAA cutoff and prepare accordingly for the further round
• Candidates who are not satisfied with the Round 2 seat allotment and looking for a better option can choose the float/ slide option. Such candidates must note that the seat allotted in Round 2 will not be cancelled until the candidate gets a better allotment (as per first choice) in Round 3
• Candidates who chose float/ slide in Round 1 and still did not get a seat in Round 2 (as per the first choice) can again choose float/ slide and wait for Round 3. In such cases, the seat allotted in Round 1 shall not be cancelled
• Candidates who had already paid the seat acceptance fee in the previous rounds need not pay the same again
• Candidates accepting the seat allotment will have to upload the documents specified by JoSAA . The documents shall be verified online
