JoSAA 2024 Eligibility Criteria: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will start the JoSAA counselling registration process today, June 10, 2024, in online mode. Before participating in the JoSAA counselling registration process 2024, the candidates should meet the eligibility criteria. Each candidates should satisfy one or more of the eligibility criteria for participating in the seat allocation process.

JEE Main 2024 Counselling Eligibility Criteria for securing a seat to NITs, IIEST, IIITs and GFTIs:

• Candidates should qualify 10+2th or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects along with the one of either of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject as the optional subject
• Based on the JoSAA 75% criteria, the general category candidates should get a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate for admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. For the reserved category candidates, the candidates should get 65% marks in aggregate. Nonetheless, if the candidates come under the top 20 percentile in their respective Board exam, will be eligible for the admission
• For the B.Plan program, the marks of Mathematics and any other four subjects’ (with the highest marks) will be considered
• For the B.Arch program, the marks of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and the other two subjects (with the highest marks) will be considered

JEE Advanced 2024 Counselling Eligibility Criteria for Admission to IITs:

• The above-highlighted JEE Main 2024 eligibility criteria should be fulfilled by the applicants. Along with this, the candidates should meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • The candidates should be under the top of 250,000 qualified candidates for the JEE Main exam
  • For raising the admission chances, the candidates should meet the JEE Advanced 2024 cutoff
