Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) Recruitment 2022 Vacancies: The Indian Navy has released the official notification announcing the recruitment of 1,400 vacancies. The online application process for the same will commence from December 8 onwards. The Indian Navy is aiming to fill up a total of 1,400 vacant positions through this recruitment drive. Of these, a maximum of 280 seats are reserved for female candidates while the remaining 1,120 seats are allotted to male candidates. Aspirants should know that following the completion of their engagement period, all Agniveers are provided with a one-time Seva Nidhi Package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government. The table below features the details of the same:

Candidates must note that no pensionary benefits and gratuity will be rewarded for the engagement period. However, they shall be entitled to receive the following additional benefits:
Yearly increments
Allowances for travel, dress, and in case of risk and hardships
Life insurance cover up to INR 48 Lakh for the duration of the engagement period
Death compensation of up to INR 44 Lakh for sudden demise during service
Disability compensation based on the extent or percentage of disability
Access to medical and CSD facilities during the engagement period
