Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata announced the notification for the admission to various Research, Post Graduate (PG) and Under Graduate (UG) programmes for the academic session 2017-18. The notification was released in February 2017 and the application process for various programmes began on February 10, 2017. The candidates who are aspiring to join in any of the programme offered by ISI need to register on or before March 10, 2017.

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata offers seven postgraduate, two undergraduate and two postgraduate diploma courses. ISI also offers Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 12 disciplines. The candidates who are willing to take up undergraduate programme at ISI must note that they are exempted from taking entrance examination if they are the awardees of Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO).

Application Process: -
- The official website of Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) facilitates online filling of application form.
- On the homepage, the candidates need to click on ‘ISI Admissions 2017’ link.
- Pre-registration to fill the online application form of ISI is mandatory.
- The candidates need to create login credentials.
- After successful registration, the candidates need to log in with valid credentials.
- Online application form for the admission to various courses at ISI opens.
- Fill the application form, pay the entrance exam fee and take the printout.
- The application fee is Rs. 700 for General Category and Rs. 350 for SC/ST candidates.
Note: - The candidates who wish to apply for PGD in Statistical Methods and Analytics must note that the application process is conducted offline.
